KISS!!!
Keep it simple stupid, you get it... I just do a really good job at photography and give you copy rights...
I have been a photographer for over 30 years. A very strong portrait photographer for years, now a wedding photographer for 12 years. The reason I do wedding photography is because, You havinig a "good" photographer at your wedding is not just a sitting that can have a re-take. I have one chance to get the shot. I get the shot! Too many times I see others re-inact a shot they missed. I want the REAL shot, not a re-do. I love real expressions, if there is a miss-take, I want it ! every real happining or your day should be real and of course beautiful... I have found the real expressions are best. However a smile is as indavigual as the person. Some smiles need to relax first, some are best as big as can be. aome are soft, and many are just sweet. The point being, I know how to get your best. And for the bigest day of your life, personally I am so sad for brides who hire photographers for their wedding who do not know how to shoot a sitting, much less your wedding! You can not re-shoot a wedding!!!
I do have a package for people who want to learn how to shoot a wedding, even if they have shot one or two before. It is call me first, I'll shoot a few weddings with you, then at least you have a start.
I love weddings!!! Next is that it is so important that you have beautiful wedding portraits, I want to be your wedding photographer because I know I can do the best for you. I truelly do have a heart for the bride and groom. And it disturbs me to think of any bride who can not afford a good photographer for their wedding. So I do my best, to give you the images you want, for a price that IS the best quailty yet is very afordable!
Because I am much better than other photographers before editing. I give you many more images because I do not cut out the images other pgotographers do. I do a first cull and give you every thing else. Then I give the the right to make copies for family and friends. I can tell you my mother never recived even one print from my nephues wedding because the price after the wedding just for a 4x6 was out ragouis. I always try to give you the right to copy because too many brides have paid all they can before your wedding, why do other photographers charge so so much after you spent all you had on the wedding? Because they can, I want your wedding to be paid. Now start your new life together.
Infact, if you need to find anything for your wedding, hear I am!!! I know where to go to get the best wedding you can aford!!! And, always with eleagance for the most wonderful day of your life. Blessings to all the brides...
A Portrait is tipically is posed. Weather it is a person or even thing. Such as You and Him, at a fave spot.
And you just can't forget your flowers on a beautiful table or stand. It is what is studied to make the portrait more pleaseing to the eye.
A Portrait is Art...
Wedding Portraits are posed in a group and mostly just the bride and groom. Where as 'wedding pictures' tend to be documenting all the events that pull together the happy day together.
Bridal Sitting: is all about that 16X20 it is a Classic!!!
Your Mom will adore it wile she misses her little princes.
you will want to hand out a bunch of wallet size 'portraits. Save the date with text on a 4x6 is a good idea just address the back add a stamp and you are set.
wallet- 4x6,5x7,8x10, 11x14,16x20,20x24...
It has nothing to do with size but with the quailty! And, it can take a little effort with an experanced photographer, wile it may take a 'newby'
so much time right after your wedding that some mayjor portraits might never be shot. This is the best reason I know of to have the experanced photographers shoot your wedding!!! The portraits you have, oposed to snap shots.
Sittings for 'weddings' :
Engagement sittings:
Save the date cards, to share on facebook, Make invatations for showers and your wedding...
Bridal sittings a must:
This can be at The Church, a Wedding Palais, a Park, a City scape water view. The background for 'portraits' mostly a little muted. Or crisp and all the details will really show.
The last portrait of the wedding should have a point.
Maybe it's a lemo with the classic sign:
'JUST MARRIED'
or you could also do the suite shot.
Honey-Moon... You are on your own, Have a wonderful time. See you in a week (or after you get back) with all your portrait images.
Wedding Day Photographer
I am always looking for ways to help my brides, so thatI can give you more amazing photography!
Wile I like to take a more natural approach to wedding photography.
While I enjoy capturing less directed moments, its no secret that even the most organized wedding needs some direction when it comes to getting the most out of your wedding and your wedding schedule. So what exactly does a great wedding day photographer's schedule look like? That answer is as different as the dress that each bride wears! But having a general idea will help the photographer and the tips I will offer will definitely help each bride and groom to get the right schedule just right for them and their big day!
Tara is a very gifted, talented and experienced.
We have many photographers who

have been made since virtually the invention of the camera. The style of these early works reflected the technical challenges associated with long exposure times and the painterly aesthetic of the time. Subjects were generally seated against plain backgrounds and lit with the soft light of an overhead window and whatever else could be reflected with mirrors. Advances in photographic equipment and techniques developed, and gave photographers the ability to capture images with shorter exposure times the making of portraits outside the studio.
Winter portrait of a 10-month old baby girlWhen portrait photographs are composed and captured in a studio, the professional photographer has control over the lighting of the composition of the subject and can adjust direction and intensity. There are many ways to light a subject's face, but there are several common lighting plans which are easy enough to describe.
One of the most basic lighting plans is called three-point lighting. This plan uses three (and sometimes four) lights to fully model (bring out details and the three-dimensionality of) the subject's features. The three main lights used in this light plan are as follows:
Also called a main light, the key light is usually placed to one side of the subject's face, between 30 and 60 degrees off center a bit higher than eye level. The key light is the brightest light in the lighting plan.
The purpose of these two lights is to mimic the natural light created by placing a subject in a room near a window. The daylight falling on the subject through the window is the Key light and the Fill light is reflected light coming from the walls of the room. This type of lighting can be found in the works of hundreds of classical painters and early photographers and is often called Rembrandt lighting.
The fourth light in three point lighting, a kicker is a small light, often made directional or limited in coverage through the use of a snoot, umbrella, or softbox that adds a bright edge light on the fill light side of the subject's face, usually just enough to establish the jaw line or edge of an ear. The kicker should thus be a bit brighter than the fill light, but not so bright it over fills the off side of the face; the placement and brightness of a kicker is a matter of taste and technique. Many portraitists choose not to use a kicker and settle for the three main lights of the standard plans. It may also be considered an acccessory light.
uses only two lights. The Key light is placed directly in front of the subject, often above the camera or slightly to one side, and a bit higher than is common for a three-point lighting plan. The second light is a rim light. Often a reflector is placed below the subject's face to provide fill light and soften shadows.
This lighting can be recognized by the strong light falling on the forehead, the bridge of the nose and the upper cheeks, and by the distinct shadow below the nose which often looks rather like a butterfly, thus provides the name for this lighting plan. Butterfly lighting was a favourite of famed Hollywood portraitist George Hurrell which is why this style of lighting is often called Paramount lighting.
Not so much a part of the portrait lighting plan, but rather designed to provide illumination for the background behind a subject, background lights can pick out details in the background, provide a halo effect by illuminating a portion of a backdrop behind the subject's head, or turn the background pure white by filling it with light.
to the portraitWindows as a source of light for portraits have been used for decades before artificial sources of light were discovered. According to Arthur Hammond, amateur and professional photographers need only two things to light a portrait: a window and a reflector. Although window light limits options in portrait photography compared to artificial lights it gives ample room for experimentation for the amateur photographers. A white reflector placed to reflect light into the darker side of the subject's face, will even the contrast. Shutter speeds may be slower than normal, requiring the use of a tripod, but the lighting will be beautifully soft and rich.
The positioning of a camera can be changed and give the desired effects. Such as positioning the camera behind the subject can produce a silhouette of the individual while being adjacent to the subject give a combination of shadows and soft light. And facing the subject from the same point of light source will produce key effects with least shadows.
There are essentially four approaches. In photographic portraiture the constructionist, environmental, candid and creative approaches. Each approach has been used over time for different reasons be they technical, artistic or cultural. The constructionist approach is when the photographer in their portraiture constructs an idea around the portrait of your happy family, romantic couple, the trustworthy executive. It is the approach used in most studio and social photography. It is also used extensively in advertising and marketing when an idea has to be put across. They are often shown as doing something, an artist in a studio shooting the bridal sitting is a great one. The candid approach is where people are photographed without their knowledge and going about their daily and wedding business. While this approach taken by the paparazzi is criticized and frowned upon for obvious reasons, less invasive and exploitative candid photography has given the world superb wedding images of people in various situations and places over the last century.
Classic focal length in the range 80 135mm on 135 film format and about 150-400mm on large format, which historically is first in photography. Such a field of view provides a flattering perspective distortion when the subject is framed in to include their head and shoulders. Wider angle lenses shorter focal length require that the portrait be taken from closer for an equivalent field size, and the resulting perspective distortion yields a relatively larger nose and smaller ears, which is considered unflattering and imp like. Wide angle lenses or even a fisheye lense may be used for artistic effect, especially to produce a grotesque image. Conversely, longer focal lengths yield greater flattening because they are used from further away. This makes communication difficult and reduces rapport. They may be used, however, particularly in fashion photography, but longer lengths require a loudspeaker or walkie-talkie to communicate with the model or assistants. In this range, the difference in perspective distortion between 85mm and 135mm is rather subtle.
Speed wise wedding lense
fast lenses wide aperture are preferred, as these allow shallow depth of field blurring the background, which helps isolate a subject from the background and focus attention on them. This is particularly useful in the field, where one does not have a back drop behind the subject, and the background may be distracting. However, extremely wide apertures are less frequently used, because they have a very shallow depth of field and the subject face will not be completely in focus.
is sometimes a desired effect, particularly in glamour photography where the "gauzy" look may be considered flattering. The Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 with Softfocus is an example of a lens designed with a controllable amount of soft focus.

Wedding Plans:
Because I love the heart of the bride who want so much, but can't afford it. The cost of weddings can be so unreasonably over priced.
To really Save money, and not loose elegance, I love to be your first vendor so I can help at least send you in a good direction.
These are the elements that make up wedding photography prices. My aim is to explain a little of what goes into them, because I know that at face value professional wedding photography can seem expensive.
Time
Probably the main thing that affects what a photographer charges is how much time.
Usually a photographer will offer different packages according to how long I am at your wedding.
This might start at just one hour for a low key, civil ceremony at a registry office, and go up to 12 or 14 hours to cover the bride getting ready in the morning to the couple leaving the venue at night.
One of the curses of digital photography is after the wedding the photographer needs to edit all the photographs on a computer, which for 1000 or more photos might take another 1 to 3 days.
Prices are reflect this increase in time, due to the opportunity and cost of the photographer. In the past she might have been earning money photographing portraits during this time, but now she must to spend time in front of the computer and less time shooting.
Other areas that require a photographer's time are planning meetings, using new locations.
Like with any other professional service, wedding photography prices vary on the photographer's hourly rate, which will be based on her experience, and market position.
