The Woodlands Waterway...
It's as simple as a walk in the park...
Portofino's beautiful architecture makes a great showcase for the beautiful bride and her dress.
Pearl head pins in each rose nice detail to photograph.
A fun pose to show off a beautiful back.
It's all about the right expression!
Get all the details of your wedding.
Filters can make and brake a good photograph.
You can have two "get a ways", one at the church and one at the reception!
This photographer will make sure,
you have your memories:
Never forget the LOVE!
See... How cute are they.
Love this couple, they were so much fun...
I love this chapel. It shoots so nice!!!
Just for fun, try a lot of patterns for a black and white portrait...
NEVER forget the LOVE!!!
Sometimes, it is about the expression.
I will always tend to include portraits where the pose is not in the center just because, the expression is so genuine.
Double Exposure
by Tara Jerich
Mother bride with her child is beautiful because, you don't have to see the face so much,
but again it is about the emotions of your wedding day that tell your story.
Wedding glamour shot
Wedding boots?
Yes, we are still in Texas aren't we?
To be fair this shot is about the idea of
"wedding flowers"
nice profile shot..
Group
Two or more elements cemented together within a lens. Lenses are described as having a certain number of elements in a certain smaller number of groups.
Hot Shoe
a mounting device, usually built onto the top of a camera that enables a flash unit, or Speedlight, to be mounted on and triggered by the camera.
ISO
International Standards Organization; the number represents the film's sensitivity to light. A higher ISO number indicates the film is more sensitive and requires less light for a proper exposure.
Macro Focusing
Macro focusing, applied to zoom lenses, moves the lens groups, enabling the lens to focus closer than the normal focusing distance from close-up shooting.
Photography for your wedding
from the Greek the means painting or writing with light.
Wedding photography to me is the most important type photography I do. I have only one opportunity to get the shot right! As it has been said there are no real re-takes at a wedding! Of course I do take many mutable shots every chance I can. This is why brides know that a pro-photographer is the only choice! That doesn’t mean all 'pros' are a good choice either. I have all the experience as the best in this business, still every shot at a wedding will not turn out. The nature of the job. So for all my weddings I say do the very best you can, and then enjoy your day! As the photographer I'll do my best to get ALL your shots, and I don't want you to worry about a thing! To help calm all my brides I remind them you did all you could, let the day come about, whatever 'miss-haps' happen, I'll get the shots and typically those are the ones you end up loving!
Sure I can spend many hours in editing to remove objects out of a portrait. But, that will cost a lot more money. Most of my weddings I am clearing clutter. I know what looks good in portrait photography. It also should apply to every shot I take at your wedding. I try to encourage all the wedding party to keep things in good order, that way I am just 'tweaking' the shot and haven't become the maid.
I remember when I first started in Wedding Photography? Everything was new, and I worked to find my unique style combined with what consumers wanted? Over time I found that rhythm but now things may have become more routine. Here I will be highlighting different photography ideas to get you thinking outside the box, mixing up shots. It is important for me to stay in curiosity to challenge myself trying different approaches and current style trends to grow with clients and the industry.
When I take my bride and groom aside after the ceremony for their wedding portraits, I always find a private little spot where they can have their own expressions Not only does the staging allow the photographer to get a more personal view of the ring exchange, the simplicity of the act plus a their kiss in a secluded location gives them a chance to really let the moments sink in. I know that when I am taking these portraits, I am giving the couple something unique and special that they will look back on as a moments that are just their own.
ALWAYS get all the wedding ring shots!!!
She said "now I can call you Grandma".
Weddings are more than the ceremony;
they are about family coming together.
The wedding rings.....fun older cuple.

Gallery Quality Images on CD:
I shoot in raw format for highest quality DVD in the form of a gallery or a slideshow or a combination of the above. Some photographers provide these proofs for the client to keep and some photographers require the client to make final print choices from the proofs and then return them or purchase them at an additional cost.
There are a wide variety of albums and manufacturers available, and photographers may provide traditional matted albums, digitally designed "coffee table" albums, contemporary flush mount albums, hardbound books, scrapbook style albums, or a combination of any of the above. Albums may be included as part of a per-purchased package, or they may be added as an after-wedding purchase. Not all photographers provide albums some may prefer to provide prints and/or files and let clients make their own albums.
The owner of the pictures' copyright is often explicitly stated in the contract for photographic services. Photographers who do not retain copyright of the images often charge more for their services. In these cases, the photographer provides the client with the digital images as part of the wedding package. The client then has unrestricted use of the images and can print any that they may desire.

I get it you are in love.
Now, to pull together the party of your life!
The stress begins and you know you need help...
As a wedding photographer for too many years to admit to, I can tell you when it is all done what do you have to show? Besides each other and the honey moon glow, it is the wedding pictures!
A good photographer especially 'a wedding photographer' should be able to find all the details, when a wedding planner is not available. In fact, when a bride has pulled everything together herself, bringing all the parts she wants in her wedding, sometimes a photographer's eye can just tweak your idea and make all the difference in your pictures.
Of course I think 'wedding portraits are the most important part of your wedding" because that is my job", and a strong passion. I keep this as a 'mind-set' in order to focus on the outcome of your wedding pictures. However, I always hear "everyone was so impressed by 'the photographer" so much that I never let that praise go to my head. I understand the process, If I can help carry in part of the wedding cake you thing I am very helpful, when I just want to help make sure it gets in without any damage! Because I will need a great shot later on!
Most other photographers take only half the amount of images that I do. Shooting RAW FORMAT eats up space big time! Their style maybe is just covering an event for the money. My style is one of true passion. I shoot from 300 to 700 images for an average size wedding. And up to 1200 for a very large size wedding. So depending on your wedding is what I shoot. And then I do not 'cull out' (delete) more than half like others. I only do a soft cull. You really get everything!
And I tell give you warnings so you don't fill up all the space on your lap top downloading your wedding (like I did on the first wedding I loaded).
Unless I win the lotto I plan to stay. However, if I did win the lotto I would build the most beautiful Cassel to shoot weddings! And I do full weddings for service men and woman coming back for free! Wow, how much fun would that be?
We are all struggling with the cost of everything now days. Never the less wedding photography is important. I do not take advantage of others so I try to give away my efforts and expertise of wedding photography all the time. This may make me look cheap but, I am not! If you cannot afford a 'good photographer for your wedding I charge $300 and up. If you can afford a truly great photographer then you should be willing to pay $2,000 for the same package. My price for photography is meant to be a real gift to all my brides and
And let me say I love wedding photography, getting the best memories of your wedding has been my personal joy for over 12 years now.
